Since taking up a position in Shanghai as General Manager China with RepuTex at the beginning of 2006, Martha has led research to develop risk models for global companies, government organisations and financial markets, focusing on the pricing of environmental and sustainability related factors relevant to Asian markets.  In applying these models, Martha has overseen development of research on over 2,000 companies in Asia, including 300 firms in mainland China. As part of this research, Martha has worked closely with top Chinese firms including Baosteel and the Shanghai Stock Exchange.  Other key sectors include Energy and Natural Resources, Financials and Transportation.
 
As the world focuses on climate change, much of this risk assessment has involved the quantification of the economic and financial impacts of carbon reduction schemes for local Asian firms, as well as their western customers.
 
Educated in Australia, Martha holds an Honours degree in Law, specialising in Asian Commercial Law.  She speaks Indonesian, Malaysian and Chinese.
