Background Description / Mission Statement:
Founded in May 11, 2007, Narada Foundation is a private foundation approved and supervised by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China, with a registered capital of 100 million Yuan donated by Shanghai Narada Group.

Mission: to support Civil Societies. Narada Foundation pays close attention to the social problems in China during the transition from developing country to developed country, and finances the public service projects to promote social innovation of the social societies and help achieve social equality and harmony.

Vision: Spread Hope in Everyone's Heart

The world would become better if everyone can feel hopes deep down.



CSR Activities in China:
CSR activities include:

- New Citizen Program

In order to improve the growing environment of the children of migrant workers, Narada Foundation decided to launch The New Citizen Program according to which Narada would help the non-profit organizations through inviting tenders for projects to develop volunteer services in education and caring activities for migrant children.

- 5•12 Earth Quake Reconstruction Program

The Foundation participated in the post-disaster reconstruction through financing, promoting and serving the civil societies to make sure professional, long-term, and localizing preformances. By the end of 2008, the reconstruction mainly concentrated on housing, self-help, community and social work, information services and research, policy advocacy and other fields.
