Established in 1983, China National Materials Group Corporation Ltd. (SINOMA) is a central government-administered enterprise directly under the administration of State-owed Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC). It is the only enterprise that possesses a series of core technology and complete innovation system in non-metal material industry in China. It integrates scientific research, design, manufacturing, engineering and construction and international trade, forming a technological and international enterprise. Sinoma has been listed among the China Top 500 enterprises for successive years and it is also one of the first batch 56 large enterprise experimental groups.

CSR activities include:

 

-Since 2009, youth league committee of Sinoma Hanjiang branch vigorously carried out the company-wide “Qing” conservation demonstration activity in which young people reduced cost, improved efficiency for corporation by their concrete action and made great contribution to the improvement of efficiency. The youth league committee actively carried out the “Energy Saving, Emissions Reduction, Old Repairing and Discarded Utilization ” activity and achieved remarkable success

 

- On December 12, 2009, according to the relevant arrangement of committee and government of Baohe District, Hefei City, Anhui general team carried out the “Diliver Warmth And Offer Love, One Day Charity ” love donation activity within the team

 

- In November and December of 2009, Guangdong general team organized employees and party members to donate to the organization department of Baiyun District Committee and family members

 

- In December 2009, many natural catastrophes occurred and caused heavy casualties and loss of property in Yunnan Province. Considering the situation and according to YunMin[2009] No.49 File, provincial Building Material Industry Association released urgent notification which called on every member unit to carry out “Deliver Warmth And Offer Love” donation activity. Yunnan general team placed great importance to the activity and carefully organized. With the voluntary and realistic tenet, party and government leaders took the lead to donate money and employees actively participated. In the activity, 5,120  RMB was collected and handed to Yunnan Provincial Civil Affairs Bureau

 

- In December 2009, according to the relevant circular spirit of Jilin Provincial People's Government and the unified arrangement of organ party committee of provincial Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, party committee of Jilin general team carried out the “Deliver Warmth And Offer Love” donation activity within the team and actively organized party cadres and employees to donate money, in which 9,960 RMB was collected was and sent to people from disaster areas

 

- In December 2009, in order to actively respond to the call of provincial party committee, provincial government and provincial working committee and increase the help for people from disaster area and to stay warm and safe in winter, party committee of Sichuan general team carefully organized the “Deliver Warmth And Offer Love” donation activity. With the voluntary and realistic tenet, the team donated 4,900 RMB and 70 pieces of clothes in only a few days, which fully promoted Chinese traditional virtue of helping poor and solidarity. All the money raised was handed to provincial charity federation and the clothes was sent to donation receipt station in Chengdu City

 

- On November 17, 2009, after getting the urgent notice from Xinjiekou Working Office, Sinoma carried out the resident institutions and enterprises’ donation activities to Longnan Disaster areas in Gansu Province. With the theme of “Help Poor, Offer Love, Warm Winter And Promote Harmony”, the donation activity raised money, winter clothes and quilts. Sinoma leaders attached great importance to the donation activity. The administration and security departments and labor union of headquarter immediately convened meeting of all departments and employees actively participated and donated. Everyone forwarded the spirit of “When Disasters Struck, Help Came From All Sides”. Some donated money, some donated clothes and quilts. Leaders and employees of headquarter donated 2,780 RMB and 184 pieces of clothes and quilts in total in 2 days, which were delivered to the receipt station of Xinjiekou district

 

- On August 9, 2009 is a day worthy celebrating and memorizing for all teachers and students of Sinoma Qiangsheng Hope Primary School in Cunrui Town, Huailai Country, Zhangjiakou City. When the 25^th Teachers’ Day was approaching, the comprehensive teaching building enlarged by the donation from China National Building Material Equipment Corporation was officially completed. The building areas of the teaching building that China National Building Material Equipment Corporation donated 250,000 RMB to enlarge was 1,000 ㎡, including laboratory, library, computer rooms etc. the teaching instruments to meet the need of all teachers and students

 

- In August 2009, Sichuan general team carried out the donation activity that offered love to Taiwan disaster areas. Party committee of the team paid great attention to this donation activity. Employees of all the projects are dispersed, so the party committee informed all the affiliations about the heavy casualties and property loss of south central region of Taiwan that caused by Morak and the donation purpose and ways, meanwhile called on leaders to take the lead in donating, helping the reconstruction of Taiwan disaster area by concrete action. Leadership included general team leader Wangjian and deputy secretary Wangmeng, and 146 employees actively donated money. A total of 9,500 RMB was colllected and would be transferred to Taiwan compatriots through Sichuan Red Cross Society

 

-On August 19, 2009, donation activity was held in multi-functional hall in the second floor of corporation building. Leaded by corporation leaders, all employees paid great attention to the activity and donated actively. Secretary of the corporation party committee Xia Chunguang said “Now Taiwan compatriots suffer from disaster, we should take action actively, carry forward the Chinese traditional virtues of helping those in distress and peril, donate to Taiwan compatriots and deliver love to help them get through difficulty and rebuild homes”. By then, over 100,000 RMB was raised which represented the love of all employees

 

-In August 2009, Chengdu institution of Sinoma carried out the donation for Taiwan disaster areas. On August 25, Chengdu branch held a special caucus to arrange the donation. In the meeting, the President and the Director of institution Jiaofeng introduced the heavy casualty and property loss of Taiwan south central region that caused by Morak in brief. He said that “The people of Taiwan are of the same flesh and blood with us and we count the disaster Taiwan suffers as a personal favor”. He called on all cadres to take lead in donation and help Taiwan disaster area to rebuild homes with concrete action. Inspired by the example of cadres including the President Jiaofeng and the Secretary Shen Anchang, comrades that attended the meeting donated actively. The department transferred  to Taiwan compatriots through Sichuan Red Cross Society

 

- In 2009, Sinoma and its affiliations donated 3,42 million RMB to nation unity and mutual assistance fund to help Xinjiang “7.5” innocent victims by July 28

 

- In July 2009, after the 10 million RMB’s donation to Sichuan disaster area through SASAC system, Sinoma donated 1.097 million RMB through every provincial and district channels, meanwhile donated 1 million RMB cash to disaster areas through All China Federation of Trade Union, and donated 1.2 million RMB to affiliation corporation. By then, the donation still was going on and the amount was still increasing
