| Background Description / Mission Statement: |
Established on 11 October 2002, China National Aviation Fuel Group Corporation ("CNAF") is a large state-owned air transportation logistics service provider in the PRC. It was established through the restructuring of its predecessor, China Aviation Oil Supply Corporation. CNAF is the largest integrated jet fuel supplier in the PRC, providing jet fuel procurement, transportation, storage, inspection, sales and refueling services. It is a central State-owned enterprise ("SOE") directly under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council ("SASAC") and is a pilot state holding enterprise approved by SASAC to carry out state-authorized investments.
Taking respecting human and nature as preexisting and doing things right and beneficial for society progress and development, CSR means the following aspects: operating business in honest and transparent ways, enhancing living standard by technology, respecting human and nature, protecting environment, making contribution to community and so on. CSR means making profit and bearing legal liability for shareholders as well as holding responsibility for employees, consumers, community and environment. CSR demands corporations to overstep the traditional concept of taking profit as the only goal and focus on human value during production and the contribution to environment and society. |
CSR activities include:
- On May 14, 2008, CNAF donated 2 million RMB to disaster areas through the Red Cross Society of China. The limited company donated 805,798.80 RMB and encouraged every member unit to donate money and materials
- In the morning of February14, 2008, party members, cadres and employees for every administration department of group corporation, limited company and land oil company actively responded to the call and deployment of group party committee and carried out the love donation for people in those snow and rain affected areas. By February15, over 300 cadres and employees donated a total of 49,926 RMB in a day
- In the afternoon of October 18, 2007, the donation signing ceremony of CNAF’s Helping Fund to the China Charity Federation was held to build "Helping Fund For Employees in Difficulty" |
